New Delhi: After petrol and diesel, CNG prices are now ready to skyrocket. In fact, CNG has become expensive in Delhi twice in the last 12 hours. Today, i.e. on Monday morning, the prices of CNG were increased by Rs 2.5 per kg. Yes, and now in this way, the price of CNG in Delhi has gone up to Rs 64.11 per kg. This price is going to be effective from April 4, i.e. today. Earlier on Sunday night, the price of CNG was increased by 80 paise. Earlier, the price of CNG had increased in the country's capital Delhi on Friday.

According to the information given on the website of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), the price of CNG in the National Capital Region was increased from Rs 60.01 to Rs 60.81 per kg. At the same time, IGL retails CNG and piped cooking gas in the national capital. In the last one month, the prices of CNG had increased for the sixth time the last Friday and now once again the price has increased, people have been shocked. At the same time, this increase has been due to the rise in gas prices at the global level.

In fact, IGL procures natural gas from the domestic field as well as buys imported LNG. On Thursday, the government had increased the price of gas produced from local fields from US$ 2.9 to US$ 6.10 per million British thermal units. At the same time, industry sources said that this has increased the cost of IGL, and a price hike was necessary.
