Facebook moderators have removed more than three billion fake accounts from last October to March 2019. This is stated in the report of the social platform. The new numbers were released Thursday in the company's third Community Standards Enforcement report. Facebook will begin releasing this report quarterly starting next year, rather than twice a year, and start including Instagram.

As specified in Facebook, a significant number of fake-pages caught in the first minutes after their registration.

From October to December 2018, about 1.2 billion pages were deactivated, from January to March - 2.19 billion. For comparison: for the remaining six months to October - 2018, the censors eliminated 1.5 billion accounts.

With automated systems, that is, without user complaints, 65% of hate content has been removed in various languages ​​in different regions.

The company summed up: every month, about 2.38 billion people log into Facebook. Following a recent terrorist attack in New Zealand in the social network, the rules of direct broadcasters will be strengthened.
