Facebook on Thursday canceled employees' return to the office until early next year due to rising cases of delta variants of the corona virus. The largest social network had set a new target of bringing employees back to its campus in January but has now promised them a notice before calling them to the staff office.

In response to the same AFP investigation, a Facebook spokesperson said, the company wants to recall personnel to the office, but corona cases affect this perspective. We continue to monitor the situation and work with experts to ensure that our return to office plans gives priority to everyone's safety.

The data, for now, shows the increasing number of corona cases based on delta variants, the spokesperson said. Google, Facebook, and Microsoft have said that personnel returning to the office will be required to get a vaccine against corona. People in Facebook offices will also be required to wear masks, even if they are vaccinated. According to the computing giant based in Washington, October 4 will be the first date for fully reopening American facilities at Microsoft.
