Also in the backdrop of the 1960s, 'Malik' is shot in coastal areas and is said to be based on real-life issues faced by minorities. It is being reported that Fahd Fasil is appearing in four different get-ups in 'Malik', traveling through different timelines.
Malik is the second directed film of Mahesh Narayanan after 'Take Off'. Also in the cast of the film are actors like Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan, Dillesh Pathan, Vinay Forte, Indrasana, Sudhi Koppa, Chandranath, and Vinay Forta. Along with this, the film, produced on a fantastic budget of 27 crores, is produced by Anto Joseph under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company, while Sanu George is in charge of cinematography and music is by Sushil Shyam.
