Delhi's Faijal Khan was visiting Mathura with his colleagues. It is alleged that on October 30, he and his accomplice Chand Mohammad offered Namaz at the Nandgaon temple complex. When the video went viral, a complaint was lodged against him at Thana Barsana on November 1. In the meantime, Faisal Khan had said that we had asked for prayers in the temple complex. Prayers were read for goodwill. Nothing has done wrong. We didn't even put pictures on social media. After the video went viral, the Mathura police had arrested Faijal Khan from Delhi.
Faijal and Chand Mohammad described themselves as members of the Khudai Khidmatgar institution. After the arrest, a bail plea was filed in the Allahabad High Court on behalf of Faijal Khan. On December 21, the High Court granted his conditional bail. He was released from Mathura district jail on Thursday morning after receiving a High Court order.
