Sumukhi Suresh has put another feather to her head as a comedian, actor, writer, and now the proud owner of a platform featuring women-centric content. The comedian founded Motormouth, a narrative marketplace and content house, yesterday. The content house aspires to promote and produce shows, films, and a range of stories with women characters.
Sumukhi's primary objective with this initiative is to bring about a cultural shift via the use of comedy. Although the site is now focused on women, Sumukhi intends to expand into additional gender-centric content in the future.
Speaking to media she said, "We've all realised that writers and content makers were the busiest persons in the creative area throughout the epidemic." "We've witnessed how many content makers have exploded in the last two years," Suresh remarked. "A fun truth is that in the digital age, only two types of material work: too excellent or too horrible.
"You are under peer pressure to watch too excellent stuff since a good film/story/content gains attention through word of mouth." Also, if the subject is really offensive, we tend to watch it together and gossip about it! So, in a word, there isn't any place for mediocrity."
