New Delhi: The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) was scheduled to meet at 11.30 am today on further strategy on the Singhu border, but the meeting has now been postponed. The meeting is said to be held tomorrow 21st November.  The meeting of the 9-member committee of senior leaders of the United Kisan Morcha will be held at the Singhu border. In this, after the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws, the next strategy will be brainstormed.

The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) has welcomed PM Narendra Modi's announcement to repeal the agricultural law but also asked parliament to formally repeal the laws. Minimum Support Price (MSP) should be guaranteed and the Electricity Amendment Bill should be withdrawn. The SKM meeting will be followed by a meeting of farmers' organisations in Punjab on November 21. It will then be determined what the next strategy of the movement will be. The United Kisan Morcha said the movement was not only against agricultural law but also for remunerative prices and statutory guarantees of crops.

Meanwhile, Indian Farmers Union (Bhakiu) leader Rakesh Tikait said, MSP is also a big question. It should also be legalised because the farmer sells the crop at a lower price, which causes him a lot of damage. We'll talk to the government now, how to get out of here. There are still many laws in Parliament, they will be implemented again. Rakesh Tikait further said that the PM has announced the withdrawal of the three laws but issues including setting up of a committee on MSP and power amendment are yet to be discussed.
