New Delhi: Union ministers are constantly appealing to the farmers to end the agitation, but the matter is stuck on the withdrawal of agricultural laws. Neither side is ready to back down. Even in the cold winter, farmers are stuck on the Delhi border. Many ex-servicemen have reached the Singhu border to support the farmers who are protesting against the agricultural laws.

Farmers are protesting at various borders in Delhi. The protest of the peasants on the Ghazipur border located on the Delhi-UP border has completed 20th day. Ramkali, an 80-year-old woman sitting on a protest, says that she is having to struggle in the cold weather, but still, she will continue her fight. Former soldier Kamaldeep Singh who reached the Singhu border in support of the farmers protesting against the agricultural laws said, "I retired from the Indian Army 5 years ago. We ourselves are sons of farmers and labourers, we have not come here as a military."

On the other hand, there are indications from the government that the three laws related to agriculture are not going to be returned at any cost. Although the government is ready to amend the laws, it is clearly refusing to demand the repeal of the law.
