Today farmer's shut down India against agricultural laws, know which services will be affected

New Delhi: Farmer's unions have called for a Bharat bandh in India on March 26 against three new agricultural laws brought by the central government on the occasion of the completion of four months of their agitation. Rail and road transport are likely to be affected in many parts of the country on Friday. At the same time, the markets can also remain closed as the farmer's organizations opposing the center's new agricultural laws have announced the entire 'Bharat Bandh.' However, it will not stop in 5 electoral states.

According to the United Farmers Front, the nationwide Bharat bandh will start from 6 am on 26th March and will continue till 6 pm. The demonstration is being performed on completion of four months of Kisan agitation at three borders of Delhi, Singhu, Ghazipur, and Tikri. Senior farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajwal said that road and rail transport will be disrupted and markets will also remain closed. The front said that Delhi will also be closed. Rajwal said that trade unions and transport and other organizations belonging to the organized and unorganized sector have given their support to the call of farmers of 'Bharat Bandh.' He further said, "Farmers will block railway tracks at various places. Market and transport services to remain closed during India Bandh.''

However, Rajwal further said that essential services like ambulances and fire fighting will be allowed during Bharat bandh. The Confederation of All India Traders, who claimed representation of eight crore traders in the country, said that the markets will remain open on March 26 as it is not included in the 'Bharat Bandh.'
