New Delhi: The Kisan Parliament at Jantar Mantar against three agricultural laws brought by the Centre ended on Monday. The Farmers' Parliament at Jantar Mantar was continuing since July 22. Farmers are adamant about the demand to repeal all three laws. On the official page of Kisan Ekta Morcha, farmer leader Buta Singh Shadipur shared a video and wrote, 'The Central Government should talk to farmers and repeal all the three laws at the earliest.'

He further said that unless the laws are withdrawn, the demonstration will continue. On the other hand, New Delhi DCP Deepak Yadav told a news agency that the protesting farmers have vacated Jantar Mantar. After the end of the Kisan Parliament, farmers have now started working on their next strategy. Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) chief Joginder Ugrahan said that there is now a plan to hold a tricolor rally across the country on August 15.

The farmers have been protesting at Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur border in Delhi since November 2020 demanding withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. Along with the monsoon session of Parliament, the objective of running Kisan Sansad was to bring MPs to the demands of the farmers.
