You can see he has tweeted one and in it he has written, "Though I’m grateful to be selected, I humbly cannot accept the Shiromni Gayak award from the Department of Language. People’s love is the biggest award of my career, & all attention & efforts right now from us all must be dedicated to the peaceful farmers’ protest." Let us tell you that Harbhajan Mann has been with the farmers for a long time. He announced last Friday that he would not accept the 'Shiromani Punjabi' award of the state government.

Yes, Maan was selected for this award by the Punjab Language Department on Thursday. The department had announced the Sahitya Ratna and Shiromani awards for 18 different categories of literature and art, and one name was Harbhajan Mann for taking the same. By the way, singer Harbhajan Mann also participated in the farmers' demonstration on the borders of Delhi and he continues to support the farmers.
