Kisan Mahapanchayat in Lucknow today, these topics will be in discussion

Lucknow: Kisan Mahapanchayat is going to be held in Lucknow today. In fact, even after the announcement of the withdrawal of agricultural laws, the farmers have decided not to cancel the pre-determined programme. The Mahapanchayat to be held today will discuss the dismissal of the Minister of State for Law and Home Affairs on MSP. In fact, recently, the United Kisan Morcha has announced that their agitation will continue despite the announcement of withdrawal of the law. A large number of farmers from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab are likely to reach the Mahapanchayat today.

On the other hand, according to reports, a large number of farmers from Muzaffarnagar in UP also left to join the Mahapanchayat. This group of farmers led by Gaurav Tikait, President, Bharatiya Kisan Union Yuva Morcha, marched to Lucknow. It is said that the group of farmers has left for Lucknow on board the Nauchandi Express train. According to the information received, the United Kisan Morcha (SKM), a group of farmers' organisations leading the movement, has written an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi last Sunday.

The letter said the agitation will continue till the government restores talks on their six demands. Farmers' organizations have declared that "they stand firm on their scheduled protests along with the Mahapanchayat in Lucknow on Monday to press for a law to guarantee the Minimum Support Price (MSP)."
