Fast X, led by Vin Diesel, is doing well in advance bookings in India. The film opens in India on Thursday, and early bookings indicate a day one gross of more than Rs 10 crore. The increases remain consistent for the rest of the weekend, and if the picture connects with its target audience, the four-day weekend total would be about Rs 55 crores, making it the highest earning Hollywood film in India this year.
Fast X has sold 27135 tickets in PVR, 15472 tickets in Inox, and 12900 tickets in Cinepolis as of 10 a.m. IST the day before its release, for a total of nearly 55000 tickets in three national chains for the opening day. Gross receipts have already surpassed 2 crores. The total advance ticket sales for the opening day are expected to be about 75000 tickets, which is fantastic for a picture launching on Thursday, and even better for a film franchise that has a longer shelf life than other Hollywood film franchises. FastX has sold about 150000 tickets in the three national chains throughout the four-day weekend, indicating that the hold will be strong even beyond the first day.
Fast X has one of the highest average ticket costs in India. The cost of the premium formats is not being avoided. Based on the current state of affairs, the film may be predicted to gross Rs 100 crore in India. Fast X will be launched on May 18th in India and May 19th in the rest of the world.
