20-year-old boy wins gold at Mental Calculation World Championship

Hyderabad: Recently 20-year-old Neelakanta Bhanu Prakash, living in Telangana, has won the title of world's fastest human calculator. Bhanu Prakash is a student of St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi and has got his name filed in 50 Limca Records. He has recently set a world record for being the fastest human calculator. Apart from this, he has made this record during the Mental Calculation World Championship to be held at Mantle Calclesh Olympiad in London.

While talking to media he said, "I have four world records for being the world's fastest human calculator and also 50 Limca world records. My brain calculates faster than calculator before it The titles are in the names of Shakuntala Devi and Scott Flansburg. It is a matter of pride for the country. I have done my part to take India internationally in the field of Mathematics."

Apart from this, he also said that "I have won the gold medal in MSO held in London on 15 August 2020. This is the first time India has won a gold medal there. MSO A is a very big international competition in London every year in which Mental skills and mind games are used. This is the same as an Olympic in any physical sport." People from 13 years to 57 years had joined the MSO. During this time people from 13 countries participated. These countries included Britain, Germany, Lebanon, Greece. At the same time, Bhanu Prakash said that 'His goal is to create a lab called Vision Maths and reach out to millions of children and arouse love for maths in them.'
