The hit actress Sasikala of the 70s had said goodbye to the world on this day i.e. on April 4. The actress has breathed her last at the age of 88. He acted in about 100 Bollywood movies. At present, she had gone away from Bollywood for a long time. Shashi's full name was Shashikala Jawalkar. Shashi belonged to a Marathi family. Sasikala's life was also full of difficulties. She played a negative character as well as a heroine in movies. It is said that before becoming an actress, Sasikala worked as a maid in people's homes under compulsion and after a lot of struggle, she got work in films.

Actually Sasikala's family was very rich and her father was a big businessman. But Sasikala was fond of dancing, singing and acting. That's why Sasikala won everyone's heart in many stage shows in many cities of Solapur district. At that time Sasikala was only 5 years old. But don't know what was written in fate. There came a time when Sasikala's father became poor and found it difficult to survive. Then Sasikala's father brought the family to Mumbai. Sasikala had said in an interview that, 'My father used to send the entire earnings to his younger brother. He was studying in London.  We were six siblings. Father took care of brother's needs more than his family. There came a time when his younger brother i.e. my uncle got a very good job.

But then he left our family behind. My father had gone bankrupt. Those days were very difficult. We did not get food for about 8 days. We used to wait for someone to invite us for lunch at his house. Some reports say that Sasikala tried hard to get work in Mumbai, but she could not get any work. Then under compulsion, he started working in people's homes. Once in an interview, Sasikala had said that, in the midst of working as a maid, she met an actress and singer Noor Jahan, who liked her face very much. Noor Jahan asked her husband to get Sasikala to work in the movie. In this way, Sasikala worked in the movie Zeenat in 1945 and was paid Rs 25 for this film. After this, he did many films continuously and did not even look back.
