Jalna: A case of honor killing has come to light in Jalna, Maharashtra. Here a father hanged his daughter. Not only this, but he also performed the last rites of his daughter. On receiving the complaint, the police registered a case of murder against the culprit. The girl, a resident of a village in Jalna tehsil, had left home 3 days back. When she came home, it came to know that she had gone with the son of a close relative. Both were having an affair and wanted to get married.

Enraged by this, the father hanged the daughter from a tree in the field. After committing the murder, he also performed the last rites of the daughter. The brother of the criminal also helped him in this matter. When the people of the village got the news of the murder of the daughter, there was a stir. Someone informed the police. Chandanjira police have registered a case against the culprit and his brother on the complaint.

Regarding this matter, the police told that the girl wanted to marry her lover. She had left the house with this intention, but due to some reason, she could not get married. Thereafter, she returned home. Enraged by this step of the daughter, the father and her uncle murdered her. A case has been registered against both.
