Game FAU-G has created quite a buzz before its release. The game was launched to replace Pubg which was banned by the Indian government. It seem that fans are not liking this made in India app. Apparently, the fans of PUBG Mobile have left one-star ratings on the official Google Play Store for FAU-G in what is known as review bombing,
The rating of the game was 4.5 stars on Goggle store at the time of launch, but now, it has fall down to 3.4. Usually, this tends to happen to draw attention to an issue pertaining to the game or the game's developer, according to a report in IGN India. Last week, FAU-G had surpassed five million downloads on Google Play Store and had become one of the top gaming apps on the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) was not satisfied with the responses on how it handles and collects user data.
India banned PUBG this year under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act. The Government of India said the PUBG Mobile Application was engaged in activities that are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity, defence and security of the nation.
