Great news! Yes, for the first time, the training of women joining NDA i.e. National Defense Academy (NDA) will be done along with men. Yes and there will be no difference between their training and reading. Let us tell you that in a recently issued release, NDN has said that most of the military training of boys and girls will be done together. With this the training of the first batch of women in NDA will start from 2022 and it will be completely gender neutral. That is, women cadets who joined NDA for the first time will have to undergo training along with their male counterparts. Let us tell you that now there will be no separate training system for women. In a statement issued by the NDA, the NDA has said that these women army officers will eventually have to take over the command of the male contingent and in this situation they can be sent anywhere. Keeping this in mind, gender-neutral training for men and women has been made.

Apart from this, NDA said that uniform training method is already being conducted at Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai, Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala and Air Force Academy (AFA) Hyderabad. Let us tell you that the training of the first batch of women joining NDA for the first time will start from June and after that they will have to undergo rigorous training for three years. Apart from this, it has been said in the release that after training and passing out parade, these cadets will join the respective service academies. With this, NDA has said in a press release, similar to their male counterparts, these girls in the age group of 16 साढ़े to 19 years have to clear the NDA's written examination, Services Selection Board (SSB) interview test and medical test conducted by UPSC. Will have to do This will be followed by three years of rigorous military training.

Let us tell you that there are total 19 seats for this first batch of women cadets in NDA. Of these, 10 have been earmarked for the Indian Army, six for the Air Force and three for the Navy. Further, according to the press release, minimal changes are possible in the existing curriculum but cadets will be trained in a gender-neutral manner in academics, drills and outdoor training etc. However, due to the physical differences between male and female cadets, in some cases, some mandatory changes may be made in the training of female cadets taking into account the aspects of physical training.
