WASHINGTON: A female teacher has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for having sex with a student in her car and classroom. The female teacher also sent obscene messages to a 13-year-old student. The family of the student detected the case through an app. The case is from Arizona, U.S.A. Brittany Zamora, a 28-year-old married woman teacher, said during the court hearing, "I am a good and true person who made a mistake and I am deeply sorry for it."

The teacher also told the judge that she wanted to get a new degree in jail so that she could start a new life when she came out of jail. However, the court's ruling stipulates that the teacher will not be released from jail in exchange for good behavior.  After coming out of jail, the teacher has to register in the Sex Offender Register. The teacher, who teaches 6th-grade children, was arrested in March 2018.

When the family of the victim showed a change in the behavior of the child, they installed a parental control app on the child's phone. This app monitor suspicious activities on messaging apps.  It was through the app that the family was exposed to objectionable conversations between the student and the teacher. Upon interrogation, the victim gave detailed information to the child and admitted to having sex.
