Kuwait:Marbella, a city known for its beauty and cultural diversity, is gearing up to host the eagerly awaited second Kuwaiti-Spanish festival. The event, scheduled from July 30 to August 1, will take place at the enchanting Puerto Banus' Garden of Europe, setting the stage for a vibrant celebration.

The festival's primary objective, as expressed by Remedios Bocanegra, a representative of the Marbella Municipality, is to further strengthen the deep-rooted and enduring ties between Marbella and Kuwait that have flourished since the late 1970s. 

This occasion aims to underscore the significance of the Kuwaiti community in Marbella while providing a platform to showcase and appreciate Kuwaiti cuisine, folklore, culture, and art.

Emphasizing the breadth of the festival's scope, Abrar Al-Masoud, chairman of the organizing company, Future International Group, highlighted that the event would not only celebrate bilateral relations between Kuwait and Spain but also delve into their political, economic, and cultural spheres.

The city of Marbella is thrilled to be a part of this remarkable festival once again, having previously hosted its inaugural edition in 2016. The support and cooperation of the Marbella municipality have been instrumental in making this event possible, and the organizers express their heartfelt gratitude for their continued backing.

Furthermore, the festival owes much of its success to the generous sponsorship from esteemed companies and organizations. Bani Hafeth Real Estates Company, Kuwait Petroleum Company, Kuwait Airways, and Al-Anba newspaper are among the event's valued sponsors, contributing significantly to its grandeur and success.

The festival's opening ceremony promises to be an illustrious affair, graced by the distinguished presence of the ambassadors of Kuwait to Spain and Spain to Kuwait, Khalifa Al-Kharafi and Miguel Aguillar, respectively. 

Their attendance highlights the significance of this cultural extravaganza and the importance both nations attach to fostering enduring ties.
