On April 27, 2023, the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023 in association with Maharashtra Tourism was organized at the Jio World Conventional Center in Mumbai. Like last year, this year also the Filmfare Awards were absolutely amazing. In the late night 68th Filmfare Awards ceremony, the films released in the year 2022 and the actors associated with those films were given the Filmfare Award for their better performance. The award function was hosted by Salman Khan along with co-hosts Ayushmann Khurrana and Manish Paul. At the same time, all the famous artists like Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor, Govinda and Jacqueline Fernandez added charm to the event with their excellent performance.
In this year's award ceremony, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and 'Badhaai Do' were lit up. According to the list of Filmfare Awards, Best Film Gangubai Kathiawadi has got the award for Best Critics Film and Badhaai Do. While Rajkumar Rao, who played the lead role in the film Badhaai Do, has received the Best Actor Award, while Alia Bhatt, who left her mark in Gangubai Kathiawadi, has been given the Best Actress Award.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has received the Best Director Award for Gangubai Kathiawadi. Best Actor in a Supporting Role went to Anil Kapoor for Jug Jug Jio. Sanjay Mishra has received the Best Critics Actor Award for Vadh, while the Best Critics Actress Award has been given to Bhumi Pednekar for Badhaai Do and Tabu for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Prakash Kapadia and Utkarshini Vashisht have received the Best Dialogue Award for Gangubai Kathiawadi. Akshat Ghildial, Suman Adhikari and Harshvardhan Kulkarni have received the Best Screenplay Award for Badhaai Do. Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikari have received the Best Story Award for the film Badhaai Do. Ankush Gedam received the Best Debut Male Award for the film Jhund. Andrea Kevichusa has received the Best Debut Female Award for the film Anek.

DNEG And Redefine was awarded in the Best VFX category for the film Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva.
Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara have received the Best Background Score Award for the film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Kavita Seth was chosen as the Best Playback Singer Female. He was given this award for the song Rangsari in Jug Jug Jio.
Brahmastra Part One: Arijit Singh has received the Best Playback Singer Male Award for the song Shiva's Kesariya.
Kriti Mahesh was awarded for the song 'Dholida' by Gangubai Kathiawadi in the Best Choreography category.
Ninad Khanolkar was awarded the Best Editing Award for the film An Action Hero.
Subrata Chakraborty and Amit Roy have received the Best Production Design Award for the film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Vishwadeep Deepak Chatterjee has been awarded the Best Sound Design Award for the film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.
Sudip Chatterjee was selected for the cinematography of the film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
