"If Indira Gandhi forcibly makes done 'nasbandi' then she is Iron Lady, if Modi..'' Filmmakers Ashoke Pandit

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi Adityanath has announced a new population policy on World Population Day on Sunday (July 11). Since then, there has been a debate on the issue on social media. Supporters of the Congress and opposition parties were also seen calling the UP government and the central government dictators. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit has also expressed his views on the UP Population Control Bill and said, 'If Indira Gandhi forcibly makes nasbandi done then she is called Iron Lady, but if Modi brings legal policy then it's dictatorship."

Ashoke Pandit said, "if Indira Gandhi and her son forcibly sterilise someone, #IronLady, if the Modi government talks about population control, it's dictatorship? Wow!'' A lot of people started reacting to Ashoke Pandit's post. A user named Praveen wrote, 'Sanjay Gandhi's time did not dare to kiss anyone, today all the puckers were hiding in their own bills. There is a saying on our side that if you give kheer to the addict, he will not digest it, he does not understand anything without kicking...'

A comment has come from an account called Acharya Ajay Anand: 'Absolutely true.' The country can never forget the sins committed by the Congress. So another user wrote: "The Modi government has not spoken a word on population control yet" So somebody said, "This is a dictatorship."
