The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, including the election in Delhi. Voting in the national capital will take place in a single day on May 25, during Phase 6. All seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi will be contested. The notification will be issued on April 29, with the last date for filing nominations set for May 6. The deadline for withdrawing candidatures is May 9.Delhi will have seven seats up for election, including Chandni Chowk, North East Delhi, East Delhi, New Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi, and South Delhi. The West Delhi constituency is the largest in terms of voters, with 24.93 lakh voters, followed by North West Delhi, which is the only reserved constituency in Delhi, with 24.76 lakh voters. The New Delhi seat is the smallest, with 14.83 lakh voters. The counting of votes for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections is scheduled to take place on June 4.
