New Delhi: The Finance Ministry has appealed to women Jan-Dhan account holders not to come to the banks simultaneously for the withdrawal of relief money and to avoid crowding. The Finance Ministry has said that they should follow the timetable issued by banks in this regard. The Indian Bank Association (IBA) has set different dates for public account holders to enter money according to the number of their accounts.

The Finance Ministry on Friday appealed to the account holders to follow this timetable. The ministry said that to prevent the spread of coronavirus, one should avoid crowding banks. Account holders can also use any bank's ATM for withdrawal of funds. All banks have started putting money in the beneficiaries' account from Friday, following the announcement made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman last week.
