An FIR has been lodged against 92 Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders, including former Bihar Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, for breaking the rules of lockdown between lockdown and corona transition. Police said on Sunday that these people had gathered to go to Gopalganj in a protest despite the recent lockdown. RJD says that it wanted to demonstrate by following social distancing in protest against the attack on the family of a party supporter. In this case, the name of a JDU MLA is being taken. This FIR has been registered under Arra 188, 269 and 270 of IPC and National Disaster Management Act.

In his statement, SHO of Secretariat Police Station Mitesh Kumar said that an FIR has been filed against 32 people named in the case and 60 unidentified people. These people gathered at Rabri Devi's residence on Friday where Tejashwi Yadav called all the party MLAs to go to Gopalganj. Mitesh said that apart from Rabri Devi and her son Tejashwi, the FIR also named Rabri's elder sons Tej Pratap Yadav and Abdul Bari Siddiqui. Both are MLAs and have been Ministers in the past.
