Lucknow: An FIR has been registered against 3 persons for making controversial and indecent remarks against Champat Rai, international vice president of vishwa hindu parishad (VHP)and general secretary of 'Ram Mandir Tirthkshetra Trust.' UP police informed in this regard on Sunday that a woman was among the accused. Sanjay Bansal of Bijnor lodged the FIR. He described himself as champat rai's brother.

Sanjay Bansal is a resident of Bijnor. Nagina police station in-charge Krishna Murari Dwivedi said a man named Vineet made several controversial and derogatory comments on Champat Rai in his Facebook post. Bansal has also shared a screenshot of Vineet's said Facebook post in his complaint. According to Sanjay Bansal, when he called the number related to that Facebook profile, it was reported that it was written at the behest of a woman from Nagina.

The Facebook post also used abusive language, as well as what hurt millions of Hindus. In fact, Sanjay Bansal was sent the post through whatsapp by his friend Rajiv Gupta and said that he used to respect his family a lot earlier, but reading this suggests that Champat Rai and his family are not worthy of respect.
