The news of Bollywood's very famous singer Kanika Kapoor suffering from Coronavirus has increased the fear about Corona across the country. Let us tell you that Kanika came back from London on March 15 but she did not get her checkup done at the airport. For this reason, the UP government has decided to take tough measures against them and legal action has been taken against them. According to the information received, action has been taken against Kanika for hiding information on sensitive issue.

Actually, in the past days, top officials had held a meeting on this and an FIR has been registered against Singer under IPC sections 188,269 and 270. News has also come that an FIR has been filed against Kanika at Sarojini Nagar police station in Lucknow. Let us also tell you that after coming back from London, she did not get her checkup done and she met many people in Lucknow. After coming back, Kanika organized a party in the Gallant apartment on Sunday. During that time, many big personalities were present in the party including Vasundhara Raje, Dushyant Singh and Kanika has given a clarification on her behalf through a post on social media.

Recently she wrote- " For the past 4 days I have had signs of flu, I got myself tested and it came positive for Covid-19. My family and I are in complete quarantine now and following medical advice on how to move forward. Contact mapping of people I have been in touch with is underway as well. I was scanned at the airport as per normal procedure 10days ago when I came back home, the symptoms have developed only 4 days ago.

At this stage I would like to urge you all to practice self isolation and get tested if you have the signs.
I am feeling ok, like a normal flu and a mild fever, however we need to be sensible citizens at this time and think of all around us. We can get through this without panic only if we listen to the experts and our local, state and central government directives. Wishing everyone good health.
