Kolkata, Today, the state-run Sambhunath Pandit Hospital catches fire, the second such incident in a medical facility in the state in three days.
None was injured in the incident.
According to fire brigade officials, “the fire at Sambhunath Pandit Hospital in the heart of the city's southern part broke out in its library in the second floor of a building at the facility at 11.48 AM”.
“Six fire tenders were pressed into service and the fire was brought under control within 15 minutes”, added officials.
