Bhilai: The news of a terrible fire is coming on an asphalt factory in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. The accident happened on Thursday afternoon. At about 1 am, there was such a huge fire in the asphalt factory of Bhilai that flames and black smoke started appearing from 5 km away. Two JCBs standing in the factory were also set ablaze due to the fire. The accident occurred in Utkal Hydro Carbon, located in the industrial city of Jamul police station area.

According to the information received, the Light Industrial Area has a factory. Where about 1 o'clock in the afternoon, a sudden fire broke out in the factory. Work was being done to prepare asphalt tablets in the section where there is a fire. On receiving the information, two vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot, but another one has been called in view of the situation. Efforts have been made to control the fire for about 3 hours.

There is one blast in the factory during the fire. It is being told that where the fire broke out, another unit has chemical-filled drums. It is feared that there was an explosion due to fire in a drum full of chemicals. At present, fire personnel are engaged in extinguishing the fire and the locals are also helping to extinguish the fire.
