According to the Korean Central News Agency, the patient found in Pyongyang had symptoms of fever and the omicron BA.2 variant has been confirmed after investigation. Kim Jong Un had called a meeting of senior officials on Thursday and then announced a lockdown to deal with the corona crisis. Kim Jong Un has ordered that lockdowns are imposed in all cities and restrictions should be followed.
