Lucknow:Just before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav has started wooing the Brahmins of UP. In the same episode, the SP chief on Sunday unveiled a statue of Lord Parshuram and a 68 feet high floor installed in Gosaiganj area of the capital Lucknow. Meanwhile, amidst Vedic chants, Akhilesh Yadav offered prayers to Parshuram and blew the election bugle with blessings.

The SP chief took the farsa of Lord Parshuram in one hand, and the Sudarshan Chakra of Lord Krishna in the other and appealed to the Brahmin community to bring the Samajwadi Party to power. But in the meantime, the question is whether the Brahmin and sant samaj, enraged by akhilesh yadav's derogatory remarks himself, will accept the appeal of the SP chief? Just a few days ago, Akhilesh Yadav had called the saints chilamjeevi, which has caused a lot of resentment in the sant samaj.

Sant Paramhans Maharaj had said on Akhilesh's statement that his statement reflected his mindset and immaturity, we not only warn leaders who are constantly making indecent remarks on sanatan dharma, saffron and saints, but also warn them that reforms should be done or the sadhus will have to face the wrath of the society. He said Akhilesh Yadav should comment on political people, but commenting on Hindu society and its saints reflects his petty and inexpensive actions.
