Ukraine's foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba said he will meet with his German and French foreign ministers, Annalena Baerbock and Jean-Yves Le Drian, to discuss the revival of the Normandy format.

"A three-way meeting will be held on the matter. We'll go over the chances for a meeting of the Normandy format's four foreign ministers in depth "Following his discussion with Baerbock in Kiev, Kuleba told reporters. It is critical that neither Berlin nor Paris make any decisions about Ukraine without consulting Ukraine, according to Kuleba. Baerbock stated that Germany and France will do all possible to resurrect the Normandy format.

To resolve the situation in Ukraine's eastern area of Donbas, the Normandy format, a four-party diplomatic group consisting of Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and France, was established. Foreign Ministers from the Normandy format met for the last time via video conference in April 2020. The German Foreign Minister will visit Russia on Tuesday to meet with her Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov.
