Microsoft took a step towards 'foldable smartphones era'

The new version of smartphone cum tablet by Microsoft is on its way to 'flexible type smartphone'. As per the latest reports, Microsoft dealt with patent to design its new 'foldable smartphone', which will work as both the technologies- tablet and smartphone. The deal was granted by the US based Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Recently all the other smartphone companies signed deal with USPTO for the prototype of foldable smartphones. This foldable device, when turned half will look like as a smartphones, while the open shape will look like as a tablet.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said, "We will continue to be in the phone market, not as defined by today's market leaders, but by what it is that we can uniquely do in what is the ultimate mobile device."
