Follow RPF guidelines for safe festive travel: Indian Railways

With the festive approaching the Indian Railways has announced the special trains for travel across India. As a fact, railways should not be a place of viral transmission the Railway Protection Force (RRF) has issued guidelines for travelers intending to travel in Railways. The general public is instructed to follow the guidelines issued while on travel.

The acts or omission of the guidelines while being in railway stations, trains or other railway area are condemnable. When a passenger or a co-passenger is in the Railways premises he/she should compulsory wear mask in a proper way covering the mouth, has to maintain social distancing, if declared Covid Positive should not come to railway area or station or board train, should not come to railway area or station or boarding a train after giving samples for testing of corona virus and awaiting result, should not travel if the person is denied to undertake travel by the health check up team at the railway station, should not spit or eject body fluids/waste in public area, should not be involved in activities that creates unclean or unhygienic environment or affects public health and safety in the railway premises, should follow the guidelines issued by the railways for corona virus prevention.

Avoiding or negligence or omission of these instructions causing endanger to the person safety may lead to punished with imprisonment and/or fine under section 145, 153 and 154 of Railway Act 1989.
