Method of preparation: To make Karachi pudding, first of all, pour water in the cornflour and dissolve it well. Also, finely chop cashews and pistachios and peel and grind cardamom. Now put a pan on the gas and add sugar and 3/4 cup water to it and let it heat up. When sugar dissolves completely in water, add cornflour solution to this syrup and mix well and allow it to cook on low heat. Keep in mind that the solution should be cooked while stirring.

In ten-fifteen minutes, the pudding will thicken and then transpires. Now add ghee to the pudding and mix well. After this, add tartar powder to this mixture, then add the remaining ghee little by little and cook the pudding while stirring until the ghee is completely mixed in the pudding. Now make a solution by adding color to a spoon of water and mix it in the halwa. Also add cashew and cardamom powder.

Cook the pudding continuously while stirring until it becomes freezing. Turn off the gas when the pudding becomes freezing. Now smooth the surface by applying ghee in a tray or plate. Now take out the made halwa in a tray and spread it evenly with the help of a spoon. Pour the chopped pistachios on top of it and make the halwa smooth from the top with the help of a bowl. Your Karachi pudding is ready. Although it is cut into square shapes, you can cut it into your desired shape. Keep this halwa in an airtight container without a fridge. You can eat it for fifteen days.
