'Govt stands with its players with full power', said PM Modi addressing 'Jaipur Mahakhel'

Jaipur: PM Narendra Modi addressed the players participating in 'Jaipur Mahakhel' through video conferencing. Because of this, Prime Minister Modi said that the series of sports competitions and Mahakumbhs that have started in the country today shows a big change. Because of this, the PM said that the land of Rajasthan is known for the enthusiasm and potential of its youth. History is the witness that the children of this brave land make even the battlefield a playground with their bravery. That's why from the past till today when it comes to the defense of the country, the youth of Rajasthan stands ahead.  

The Prime Minister said that today for the first time in the country, sports are not being seen through the eyes of the government, but from the eyes of the players. When the youth get strength, self-respect, self-reliance, facilities, and resources, then every goal becomes easy. PM Modi said that now the central government is making sports facilities up to the district and local levels. So far, sports infrastructure has been created for lakhs of youth in hundreds of districts of the country. Even in big global competitions like the Olympics, now the government stands with its players with full power. Through schemes like TOPS, players have been preparing for the Olympics for years in advance.  

Due to this, the Prime Minister also mentioned that Shri Anna Yojana started for millets. He said that Rajasthan is home to a very rich tradition of Sri Anna of millets i.e. coarse grains. Shree Anna Bajra and Shree Anna Jowar of Rajasthan are the identities of this place. The Prime Minister said that today's youth does not want to be confined to just one area. He is also multi-talented and also multi-dimensional.
