According to this legend of the Mahabharata, Brahma J had six Manas sons. One of which was Mirchi. He had a son named Prajapati. Rishi Kashyap married 17 daughters of Daksha Prajapati. One of which was named Kadru. One thousand mighty serpents were born from the womb and the largest remaining serpents. The story further tells us that Maharishi Kashyap had another wife named Vinta. Say that once Vinita and Kadru were roaming. Only then did they see a horse. Kadru said the horse is white, but its tail is black. On this, Vinita said the horse is full white. There was a condition that the loser would become the other's maid. The next day was fixed to see that horse.
