New Delhi: A foreign passenger was arrested with a pistol by the customs department at the Delhi airport on Thursday. During the search, two empty magazines were also found from the passenger. According to the customs department, the 32-year-old passenger had arrived in Delhi from Dubai. His luggage was checked and a metallic pistol was seized from him.
Officials of the customs department informed that during the checking of the bag, two empty magazines have also been recovered from the passenger. According to the information, the customs department has taken action against the passenger under Section 104 of the Customs Act. The Delhi Police has also been informed about this by the department. The police are now taking further legal action.
