Former minister Koppana Mohan Rao passes away, local leaders express grief

East Godavari: Recently, the big news has come once again. Former minister and YSR Congress Party leader Koppana Mohan Rao has breathed his last. He died at the age of 75. According to the information received, he breathed his last on Wednesday in a private hospital in Kakinada in East Godavari district. Now he has died. It is being told that he was ill for a long time. His condition was not good.

Koppana Mohan Rao had become an MLA from Peethapuram Assembly Constituency in the District twice in 1978 and 1989 on Congress Party ticket. Not only this, he also took a long time as a Forest Minister in the cabinet of former Chief Minister Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy.

For last few years, Koppan Mohan Rao was working for YSR Congress Party in Peethapuram. He never relaxed work. He was very good in terms of methodology. Local leaders of the YSR Congress Party have expressed condolences, including local MLA Pandem Dorbabu, after learning about his death recently. Everyone is very sad.
