Patna: Former Chief Minister and Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi has targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the political upheaval in the Janata Dal-United (JDU). Former CM Manjhi, who came out in support of Nitish Kumar, said that what happened in Arunachal Pradesh is not a demand for clean politics. The BJP leadership is urged that such mistakes should not be repeated, take care of it.

Jitan Ram Manjhi further said that those who consider Nitish Kumar to be weak do not know that HAM is firmly with him. CM Nitish Kumar is being said to be very angry with the BJP for the issue of including 6 JDU MLAs in the BJP in Arunachal Pradesh. Addressing party leaders at the JDU National Executive meeting in Patna, Nitish Kumar had expressed his displeasure against the BJP over many issues including Arunachal.

JDU national president Nitish Kumar said that he had no desire to become CM. After the results of the assembly elections, he had clearly told the BJP that the people have given the decision, whoever becomes the Chief Minister, if he becomes the CM of the BJP.
