New Delhi: Former Finance Minister and BJP veteran Arun Jaitley is in a serious position. He has been placed on a life support system at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. All the ministers of the Modi government will arrive at AIIMS shortly to meet Arun Jaitley, who has joined AIIMS since August 9 and know about his condition. Minister of State Jitendra Singh reached AIIMS on Saturday morning to visit his health condition.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar will also reach Delhi from Patna today to see Arun Jaitley. Earlier on Friday night, Home Minister and BJP National President Amit Shah reached AIIMS to visit Jaitley. Jaitley's condition has worsened again late Friday evening. His hearts and lungs are not working properly, so he is placed on an EMO machine.

Extrocorperable membrane oxygenation, also known as extracorporeal life support, is an extracorporeal technique for providing long-term heart and respiratory support to people whose heart and lungs are not functioning properly. Senior BJP leader Jaitley was admitted to AIIMS on August 9 after complaining of nervousness and weakness since last week.
