Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's condition critical, President Kovind will visit AIIMS

NEW DELHI: Former Finance Minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley, who has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for several days, is in critical condition. On the 9th of August, he was admitted to AIIMS due to the poor health condition. President Ram Nath Kovind will visit AIIMS at 11 am to find out his condition.

Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was admitted to AIIMS for treatment on 9th August after complaining of nervousness and weakness. AIIMS' senior doctors had informed that his condition is stable. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and other senior BJP leaders visited the hospital to visit Jaitley.

A senior AIIMS doctor had informed that Jaitley was admitted to the cardiovascular department at 10 a.m. for a medical examination. A team of endocrinologists, nephrologists and cardiologists are keeping an eye on their health. The doctor said, "His condition is stable at the moment and we are keeping an eye on his health." Arun Jaitley had a kidney transplant last year, since he distanced himself from politics.
