Former Indian footballer Hamza Koya died in a hospital in Mallapuram due to the covid-19 epidemic. He represented Maharashtra in the Santosh Trophy along with the Indian team. So far 15 people have died in Kerala due to coronavirus. Hamza, 61, played in various clubs in Mumbai. He returned from Mumbai on May 21 with the family. His son works in Mumbai and he too returned with his family.

According to the information received, Hamza was admitted to Mallapuram Hospital on May 26 after finding out the covid-19 symptom. After two days, he started having trouble breathing and after that he was put on ventilator. But he died on Saturday morning.

For your information, let us tell you that five members of Hamza's family have also been found corona infected and they are also undergoing treatment in the hospital and their condition remains stable.
