Mumbai: The arrest of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has been stayed by the Supreme Court (Supreme Court). Indeed, the Supreme Court recently heard a plea seeking protection from former Commissioner Parambir Singh's detention. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has directed that Parambir Singh not be detained while the probe is ongoing because he is under house detention.

'Tell me where Parambir Singh is first, and then the court will hear,' the court had said during his last hearing. 'We worry what would happen to the common man in such a circumstance,' the bench added. The Maharashtra government and others have been given till December 6 to answer to the Supreme Court's notice. The case's next hearing will now take place on December 6 at the Supreme Court. "Parambir is in the nation," said Parambir's counsel Puneet Bali before a panel of Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul today. When questioned, 'How are you in danger from the Mumbai Police?' the bench replied, 'How are you in danger from the Mumbai Police?'

So, on behalf of Parambir Singh, advocate Bali told the court, "there have been all FIRs against me." I'm in the country, but I'm hiding because my life is at risk. At the same time, Param bir Singh's lawyer, advocate Bali, remarked, "I have taken a position against the state's Home Minister." The inquiry should be forwarded to the CBI in such a situation. "My client was instructed to retract the lAetter from the DGP and keep calm in the matter of the Home Minister," the lawyer continued. The bench, on the other hand, inquired for the phone conversation's transcript. In the meanwhile, Bali has filed the transcript with the court.
