Lucknow: A shocking case is reported from Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. A former Pradhan and Samajwadi Party leader was shot dead by unknown assailants on Sunday morning. The killers escaped by carrying out the incident in dense fog. After some time, on the information of a passerby passing through, the people and family of the village came to know about the incident. Police also reached the spot after getting information. When the police wanted to lift the body, the villagers stopped it. The demand of the villagers was that the DM and SP should come on the spot. Officers will be announced to arrest the killers as soon as possible.

According to information received from sources, it has been learned that after about an hour Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya reached the spot. He assured the early arrest of the attackers, then the villagers let go to pick up the dead body. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem. In this regard, the police has been given a complaint on behalf of the deceased's wife Meena. It is also being said that the deceased Samajwadi Party leader and former headman was the only son of his parents. Former head of Sheikh Walia village of Mohammadabad Gohna Kotwali area and killed Samajwadi Party leader Bijli Yadav. According to the relatives, the former head left home for a walk on Sunday morning as usual. Arrived near his cousin's college located about half a kilometer from home.

For your information, let us tell you that in the meantime, the killers shot him in the head, due to which he died on the spot. Due to dense fog, no one could get any immediate information about the attackers. At the same time, when it has been noticed that after some time, the passerby passing through that path made noise and informed the villagers about the incident.
