You know, Vajpayee was a senior BJP leader as well as one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS). He finally passed away on August 16, 2018, after battling a prolonged illness. The whole country was in mourning over his passing away.

Currently, Amash Films owner Shiva Sharma and Jishan Ahmed have obtained the official rights of the book 'The Untold Vajpayee', written by the NP. He also wants a film on Atalji, which will have all the information about him. It will reveal many aspects of his life like his childhood, college life, his becoming a politician. Sharma said, "The 'Untold Vajpayee' is one of my most ambitious projects and gives me immense respect and the joy of being able to bring this hero to the big screen."
