Lucknow: Viresh MP on Wednesday after the court issued orders for attachment and arrest in two separate cases of 25 years old against Viresh Yadav, who was a Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA from Atrauli Assembly in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh, on 26 April. Surrendered himself in the /MLA court. After which the court sent him to jail for 14 days in judicial custody. At the same time, the date of April 9 has been fixed for hearing on the bail petition filed by Viresh's advocate.

Let us inform that in the year 1997 and 1998, two separate cases were registered against Viresh Yadav at Dadon police station. Among them were also sections of murderous assault. The hearing of these cases is going on in MP/MLA cases court ADJ-4 Manisha. Even after the issue of warrant from the court, Viresh Yadav was not appearing in the hearing of these cases. On this, the court had issued attachment notices on 5 September 2019. These notices were also served by the police station. Even after this, Viresh did not appear before the court.

After this, non-bailable warrants were issued by writing letters to the Principal Secretary Home and DGC from the court level. It has been told in these letters that Viresh is an influential political person. Police is not able to bring them to the court. They should be arrested and presented in the court. Meanwhile, on 9 September 2021, Veeresh filed an anticipatory bail petition. The said petition was dismissed by the court. After which Viresh himself reached to surrender.
