New Delhi: Former Twitter India Chief Manish Maheshwari has now resigned from the company. Manish will now pursue a career in the education sector. Manish Maheshwari was sent back to the US in August following the uproar that started this year after former Congress president Rahul Gandhi shut down his Twitter handle. Manish himself has now tweeted about leaving Twitter.

Maheshwari wrote, 'After nearly three years, I am leaving Twitter to dedicate myself to education and teaching. Though I am leaving Twitter with a heavy heart, I am excited about the impact that can be created globally through education. Maheshwari took over as managing director of the company in India in April 2019. Maheshwari said he will launch the joint venture with Tanay Pratap, a software engineer at Microsoft.

In a series of tweets, Manish explains how Corona has changed the skills needed to succeed in the economy and is starting its own venture to teach this skill. He said that education has always been very close to his heart. Tell us that the new CEO of Twitter right now is Parag Agarwal of Indian origin.
