Today is the 74th Republic Day of India and the whole country is celebrating it. A parade is also being organized in the capital Delhi on the occasion of January 26 on the path of duty. Nine Rafale jets and other aircraft including light attack helicopters are going to be among the 44 aircraft participating in the flypast.

This time a 120-member marching contingent of Egypt is going to be in the parade. This time Agniveers are also being included in the parade. This year, a 120-member marching contingent of his country is also going to participate in the parade along with the President of Egypt in the Republic Day celebrations. Let us tell you that the Republic Day parade is going to start from Vijay Chowk at 10:30 am and will move towards Red Fort. The parade is scheduled to pass through Duty Path, Subhash Chandra Bose Golchakkar, Tilak Marg and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg, and Red Fort.

This time Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi can be the chief guest in the parade on 26 January. The 68-year-old influential Arab leader is set to grace the Republic Day celebrations on January 26. A high-level delegation is also going to join Sisi, it is going to include five ministers and senior officials. Earlier, the President of Egypt visited India in October 2015 to attend the 3rd India-Africa Forum Summit, followed by a State visit in September 2016. This is the first time that the President of Egypt has been invited as the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations of India. Along with this, a military contingent of the Egyptian Army will also participate in the Republic Day parade.
