Srinagar: After the encounter with the terrorists in Khanbal of Jammu and Kashmir, the terrorists attacked the police personnel in Shopian district. Four policemen have lost their lives after being attacked by terrorists in Shopian's Arahama. Here are the Visuals from the hospital. Of Jammu and Kashmir took by the leading news agency ANI-

 It is being told that the police force was on regular patrol, at the same time the militants started firing on them, in this attack, two policemen were killed on the spot while two others succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

"There was specific information on which the operation was launched. Army, CRPF & J&K police coordinated the operation. 2 Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were eliminated. Forces have done it without any collateral damage", IGP Kashmir, SP Pani, on Anantnag encounter.

Earlier, security forces had killed two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, one of the oldest Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants operating in the Kashmir Valley. He was identifies as Altaf Kachru was killed in the operation. He was involved in many cases including the killing of J&K: while  the second terrorist was identified as Omar Rashid Wani.

Worth mention here in recent times, there has been an unprecedented increase in terrorist activities in the Kashmir valley with many incidents of attacks on security forces and civilians. Three days ago, in an encounter in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, security forces had killed a terrorist linked to JM.
